ELEVEN DOGS.....at least!!
Further proof of the numbers of dogs in this compound is shown below. DG has consistently told the court and Seprona that she only has 4 dogs in the compound at any one time. In January there were at least 7. In February, another dog was added, making 8. At some time in March, one animal was removed, or died, and then, in April/May, 4 puppies were born, bringing the present number to 11.
In the photograph below, 10 of the dogs can be seen:
In the far pen, you can see the large black, hairy dog (large Terrier?) on the right, with the Alsatian lying down just behind the grey dog, which could be a Weimaranar.
The pen in front of them is empty, as far as it is possible to see.
In the next pen are the 4 puppies and their mother (a Pointer?)......three of the puppies are on the left, two have dark, almost black patches and the other has light brown markings.
Nearest the camera are the Boxer and the small brown dog.
The pups' father is in the furthest pen but not in this shot.
It also seems that, regardless of the forthcoming court case, DG and her accomplice are continuing to develop the compound, building new structures. During the first week of June, the structure below was added to and is clearly going to be yet another pen, possibly divided in two, but much taller than the dogs' pens. Taken together with the erecting of the wooden posts, this looks suspiciously like a corral for horses.
Considering the time and energy they devote to these new developments, it is obvious they have no fear of any effective penalty from the courts. If they lavished the same amount of time on the animals, it would be an entirely different story, but 90% of their visits are spent walking around the place and ignoring the dogs completely.
The whole compound, though, remains an overgrown, neglected and unkempt area, reflecting the lack of care and attention that these people consider to be the norm. They have no respect for the land and no respect for the animals they place within it.
The questions remain:
WHY HAVE ANIMALS AT ALL if they are just going to keep them imprisoned, miles from their own home, in disgusting conditions?
WHY ARE THEIR VISITS SO INFREQUENT.....often only once every 10-14 days?
WHY, WHEN THEY DO VISIT, do they ignore the dogs and show them no affection at all, often failing even to feed and water them?
WHY, AFTER ALL THE INVESTMENT IN THE SITE, do they allow it to become overgrown and neglected, a breeding ground for infection and rats?
WHY DO THEY CONTINUE TO LIE TO THE AUTHORITIES about the number of dogs they are keeping?
AND WHY DO THE AUTHORITIES ALLOW THIS BLATANT ANIMAL ABUSE TO CONTINUE?!!
