LATEST NEWS.....

The Guardia Civil 'Seprona' division has been informed.  They came out on Boxing Day to see the cause of our distress and take pictures.  We heard nothing more.  We can only hope they will act speedily, a completely uncharacteristic trait in the Spanish, although we believe they were genuinely shocked by the conditions and will try to help.

Fourteen days after her last visit, Dog-Girl returned to the compound with her grave-digger friend.  They brought some water with them, but it was not for the dogs.  They used the water to make up some cement in order to start building another enclosure.  They spent five hours at the compound, sitting within a few feet of the remains of the greyhound and even closer to the small, severely injured brown dog.  She made no effort to attend to the animal's wounds, or to feed or water the rest of the inmates.  She paid no attention to any of the needs of any of the animals.

The next day, New Year's Eve, she returned with some food and water, but did not distribute the food, leaving it, instead, in the bags for distribution at a time more convenient to her, leaving the animals in a frenzy of expectation.

After her visit, we found that she had discovered the body of yet another dog...a small black terrier.....which she had dumped beside the cement mixer, to bury it at a later date or for her pack of black dogs to eat.  She also moved the injured brown dog so that he was less easy to photograph.  His injuries by this time were so bad (see above) that he had tried to clean them, licking his skin through to the bone.
